I created a contrast between the holding hands and the background. I painted the background with dark strokes which represents that we live in uncertain times. The holding hands are surrounded by the light. This symbolized that we will be strengthened and find peace in our hearts when we pray.
During the pandemic, many temples around the world are temporarily closed. Though we cannot visit temples in person, we can make our home a holy sanctuary, filled with the spirit of the Lord.
